PhD Course
Applicable Approximation Theory
A. A. 2015/2016
Topics
The course aims at providing the basic tools of Approximation Theory which are essential for the approximation of integrals and for the numerical solution of integral equations.
The main topics include:
1. Interpolation;
2. Numerical integration;
3. Numerical solution of integral equations.
A detailed program is available here.
There will be both theoretical and practical lessons.
