The CaNA group is composed of researchers mainly from the University of Cagliari.
Our primary research interests lie in the numerical solution of mathematical problems with the aid of scientific computing. We are particularly interested in problems arising from the discretization of integral equations of both the first and the second kind, inverse problems, numerical linear algebra, optimization, complex networks analysis, and quadrature rules. We tackle these problems from both a theoretical and a computational perspective.
Our collaboration with applied scientists, e.g., geophysicists, physicists, and archaeologists, allows us to study real life problems and apply our mathematical expertise on the field and to real-world datasets.
